This recipe is highly anti-inflammatory and gut-friendly, especially when using homemade bone broth which provides a rich dose of collagen and amino acids. Utilizing coconut aminos offers a completely gluten-free and soy-free alternative, while the portobello caps themselves provide a low-calorie, nutrient-dense source of antioxidants and dietary fiber.
  • How to Serve as an Appetizer: For an elegant starter, slice the baked caps into thick, bite-sized strips and arrange them on a platter with toothpicks alongside a tangy dipping sauce, or feature them whole as a savory component on a holiday charcuterie board.
  • How to Serve as a Side Dish: Serve them whole alongside a grilled steak, roasted chicken, or fish to soak up the main juices, or chop the leftovers to use as a gourmet vegetable topper for your proteins throughout the week.
