Notes
This recipe is an excellent, nutrient-dense choice that supports anti-inflammatory and wellness goals. White albacore tuna provides a lean, high-quality source of protein and heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential for cellular health and reducing inflammation. Using non-fat Greek yogurt as the sauce base completely eliminates the heavy fats found in traditional mayonnaise-based tartar sauces while adding a gut-healthy probiotic boost, and the inclusion of nutritional yeast infuses the dish with essential B-vitamins.
How to Serve: Arrange the hot, freshly grilled tuna cakes on a warm serving platter alongside a central bowl of the chilled garlic chili sauce. For a beautiful presentation, garnish the platter with fresh lemon wedges and a sprinkle of chopped parsley or chives. While they make an exceptional finger-food appetizer or snack, you can also serve two or three cakes over a bed of fresh mixed greens to easily transform this recipe into a light, satisfying main dish salad.
