Cranberry Sauce
Homemade Orange-Honey Cranberry Sauce
A vibrant, naturally sweetened twist on a classic holiday staple. This recipe swaps refined sugar for raw honey and fresh orange juice, creating a bright, citrusy flavor profile enhanced by warm notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. The addition of a gelatin bloom ensures a beautifully set, spoonable texture that holds up perfectly on the plate.Ingredients

- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 12 oz Packages fresh cranberries
- 1 cup Freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup Light-colored raw honey
- 2 tsp Finely grated orange zest
- 1/2 tsp Ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the water and set aside to bloom. Mix the cranberries, orange juice, honey, orange zest, nutmet and cinnamon in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Remove from the heat and transfer to a bowl. Cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for 4 hours, or until thickened. Serve chilled.
